To be successful in this role you will need:
Ø Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Ø Ability to lead and mentor staff
Ø Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Ø Willingness to problem solve and take initiative
Ø Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ø Well-developed assessment and report writing skills
Ø Evidence of up to date Influenza Vaccination
Ø Current National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain one (obtained within the last 12 months)
Ø Residential Aged Care and or Disability care experience is desirable, but not mandatory
Ø Clinical documentation management
Ø PEG feed / Dysphagia management
Ø Tracheostomy Management
Ø Night shifts (active/sleep)
Ø Community access – Driving experience is an advantage
Ø Compassion and genuine interest in working with clients with disability support need.
Ø Engaging in rehab therapy with clients
